THE WORD OF ELOHIM
GENESIS
Chapter 26
Paragraph 1:
“So that all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by your heirs.”
This is a repeated prophecy concerning anti-
It is unfortunate that so many people have disregarded the first portion of 22:18…
“I will bless those who bless you and curse him that curses you.”
The children of Israel are like a “first born son,” used as an example for us to follow, in the way of the Lord. When they were blessed, it was an encouragement for us to follow in their steps; and when they were cursed, to be used as a warning.
Also, every one of us was created with our differences, so that our hearts would be exposed by our behavior towards others. This is why later, we are taught in the Word of Elohim, to judge not, least we be judged, in the same manner that we have judged others.
“Abraham obeyed Me and kept my charge: my commandments, my laws, and my teachings.”
Long before the time of Moses: There were men of Yehovah, who walked with him, according to the way. (Adam, Hebel (Abel), Shet (Sheth), Chanoch (Enoch), Noach (Noah), Shem, and Abraham.
Paragraph 2:
“She is my sister.” This is the same thing that Abraham said to Paroh (Pharaoh), in Mitzramah (Egypt), in Genesis chapter 12 and Abimelek, in Gerar, in Genesis chapter 26. Technically, Abraham did not tell a lie, but Yischaq clearly does; however, we don’t know all that took place, we only have a snapshot. Was it a common practice of men to kill one another, in that time, simply to possess their wife?
Paragraph 4:
“The water is ours.”
It is interesting how even today, people will go to war, and destroy one another, for what they believe is “theirs.” We are only tenants and all that the earth contains, belongs to Yehovah.
How many clansmen, tribes, and nations war with one another and contend that the water, the gas, and/or oil rights belong to them?
How many people seek power to control the earth’s resources and disregard the plight of the poor?
