Chapter 39
Paragraph 1:
In Genesis, chapter 37:
The brothers saw the caravan of Yishmeeli (Ishmaelites) and decide to sell Yehoseph to them.
Then when the Medani (Midianite) passed by they pulled him from the pit and sold him to the Yishmeeli (Ishmaelites) for twenty pieces of silver and they brought Yehoseph to Mitzramah (Egypt).
However, at the end of the chapter it states that the Medani (Midianite) took him to Mitzramah (Egypt) and sold him to Potiphar.
But in chapter 39:
It states that Joseph was sold to Potiphar by the Yishmeeli (Ishmaelites).
Perhaps the two groups traveled together or perhaps Yehoseph was sold more than once?
Paragraph 2:
This one came to lie with me; but I screamed loud. And when he heard me screaming at the top of my voice, he left his garment with me and got away and fled outside.”
… The servants did not seem to be so far away, if she only “called out to them,” and it is a wonder that they did not hear her scream at the top of her voice.
