THE WORD OF ELOHIM

GENESIS

Chapter 4

Paragraph 1:

Chavah (Eve), "I have gained a male child with the help of Yehovah (The Lord)."

Chavah is the first woman to bring forth a child, and she is alone and afraid; however, the spirit of Yehovah is with her and helps her.  He comforts her and gives her instructions; so that she may not be afraid and know how to bring forth her child and take care of him.

Paragraph 3:

Kayin (Cain) "Anyone who meets me, may kill me!"

Question:  Who is Kayin afraid of if Adam & Chavah, and he only remain, after Hebel (Abel) has been killed?

There is evidence that humans, who evolved from prehistory, survived through the ice age.  Approximately a thousand years before Adam and Chavah were created, the city of Jericho had been erected by ancient man.  The area is close enough to where Adam and Chavah lived, that they may have already encountered them and knew about them.   Given the difference that can be expected in their human nature, it is obvious that Kayin was afraid of them.

Paragraph 6:

“It was then that men began to invoke Yehovah by name.”

Up until this time, Yehovah kept a very personal relationship with Adam and his household.  However, at this time, the household of Adam started to become more independent and they did not turn to Yehovah for regular guidance.  Therefore, unless they sought Yehovah, they could not find him; because a breach has developed between Yehovah and man.
