THE WORD OF ELOHIM

GENESIS

Chapter 50

Paragraph 1:

The experience of death was very revered in Mitzramah (Egypt), obviously this can be testified to by the presence of so many monumental tombs there.

Yehoseph spoke to Paroh’s court, saying, “Do me this favor, and lay this appeal before Paroh:  ‘My father made me swear, saying, “I am about to die.  Be sure to bury me in the grave, which I made ready for myself, in the land of Kenaan.”

Perhaps Yehoseph made this statement, to appeal to Paroh’s court.  Perhaps there was some fear that he would not have permission to go and do as his father requested.

Paragraph 4:

The son’s of Ya’akov still practice deceit towards Yehoseph.  Before it was out of jealousy and now it is out of fear.

Paragraph 5:

Yehoseph remains steadfast, faithful, and loving towards his brothers.
